Closing:

Today I want to acknowledge the loss of one of our own.  A fellow podcaster, knitter and much loved lady in the knitting and Ravelry community - Karrie, also known as KnitPurlGurl (podcast by the same name), passed away suddenly on Monday, November 26th, 2012.  Please join me in sending your thoughts of strength, love and peace to her family. To honour her today, in this closing, I wanted to play a song by Torley on Piano called “Remember Melody”.  To our sweet KnitPurlGurl, this is for you.

Song: Torley on Piano - Remember Melody

  1. Hi Ursa! Thanks for asking Jane all about the photos in 'Island' - I actually was able to follow along a bit in my PDF copy. It was really interesting to hear how she put the book together. I have had my boyfriend do photos and graphic design for my mini-business, so it's something to keep in mind if I ever publish my own designs as well!

  6. Interesting episode with the paleo diet information. My daughter has expressed interest. I have tree nut allergies so can't see myself with this change but I will pass the information.

The Jane Richmond books looks wonderful and could help me go beyond knitting scarves and shawls. The purple would be my choice of yarn.
